Welcome to Sizael!

Sizael is an original fantasy roleplay game, first set in the kingdom of its namesake, but now set within the world of Seno with a focus on Sizael Kingdom. A forum-based play-by-post roleplay, our game rating is a flexible PG-13 (for now). Though this means you can‘t go into graphic detail about sexual encounters or torture, you can touch upon these subjects or scenes with a little bit of careful word playing - if a member is ever unsure if something is acceptable, they can also email it to our staff for approval before posting. Alternatively, we allow mature collaborations or solo pieces on our Deviantart Group.

At Sizael, the actions of characters in all roleplay threads can and do affect the storyline. With our experienced story analyser who has been observing all our threads since our beginning, there’s a good chance your character may have affected upcoming world or kingdom events. Players should never be afraid to affect the storyline - the more your character appears around Sizael up to something, the more likely their actions are affecting the story, due to their being around and interacting more. Examples of such things happening are Sigmus Black attacking the hideout of the pirates with his guild, causing an all out feud between assassins and pirates for a time, Jaq Snatch and Mairi Scott signing a truce with the same assassin to end the feud, various played characters rescuing Kenton Anders who advises all the characters, the murder of the druid Samil Nazur… There’s so much that it wouldn’t be a good idea to list them all! With normal threads and special events affecting the storyline, you’ll always have something to do, and if your character is more interested in their own lives than the world at large in which they reside, that’s ok. The story may still be affected by them.
